Dig Deep
Participants wear flotation belts for a zero impact, moderate intensity workout in the deep end of the pool. It is not necessary to be an avid swimmer to participate; but it is helpful for participants to be comfortable in deep water.
Flex & Stretch
Don't let pain stop you from exercising. Water provides excellent resistance while giving comfort and support to your body. Increase your mobility and flexibility through water walking, stretching, range of motion, mild aerobics and more. If you have back problems, arthritis, surgery, fibromyalgia, and other pain issues or just want to get started with general exercise this class is designed for you. This class is also good for anyone needing increased flexibility and toning.
Pre/Post Natal
For all levels of fitness, trimesters and post partum. Enjoy the support of the water in this low impact class. All are welcome and bring your partner to share in your fitness journey.
Water Fitness Class Guidelines To ensure a safe and positive fitness class experience for all, THPRD requests that participants abide by the following:
Please check in at the front desk prior to entering the class.
Class space is first come, first serve. Please safely and respectfully share the space with all participants and your follow your instructor’s direction.
Face the instructor and participate in the moves the instructor is demonstrating. Doing your own workout in the class area is distracting and disruptive to fellow participants and the instructor.
Conversation during class is distracting to the instructor and participants around you. Please be courteous and limit socializing to before and after class.
Travel with your class when directed by the instructor. When all participants are moving together, there is less risk of collision and greater resistance from the water.
We will not share your e-mail address; we will only use it to provide you with information about THPRD programs, activities and events. If, at any time, you no longer wish to receive this information, you may unsubscribe by following simple instructions at the bottom of each e-newsletter.
