Tualatin Hills Nature Center (THNC) offers nature-based camp programs for a variety of age groups including Summer, Day Off, Winter and Spring Break camps. For descriptions of upcoming nature camps check out the Tualatin Hills Nature Center Activities Guide or call THNC at 503-629-6350.
Below are general descriptions of our camp series for summer. Look for seasonal school year descriptions in the activity guide.
Camp Wild Things
Who: Ages 4-6
What: A half-day camp in which campers explore the trails, create fun crafts, and get a close look at the animals that call Jenkins Estate home.
When: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-noon
Where: Morning sessions are offered at Jenkins Estate. Campers will meet at the Jenkins Estate Gatehouse, 8005 SW Grabhorn Rd., Beaverton.
What: Half-day nature camps filled with fun and adventure. Create arts and crafts, play games, make new friends and explore the many beautiful areas, plants and animlas of Cooper Mountain Nature Park.
When: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-noon.

Wild Adventures Camp
Who: Ages 6-9
What: Wild Adventure Camps are full-day nature camps filled with discovery, fun and wild adventures. Play nature games, make new creations and explore the trails and habitats of the Cooper Mountain Nature Park with brand new friends. When: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. throughout the summer. Where: The drop-off and pick-up location for these camps is the Cooper Mountain Nature Park, 18892 SW Kemmer Rd., Beaverton. Nature Explorers Camp
Who: Ages 7-10 (geared to students entering grades 2-5)
What: Campers will hike, check out critters, play games and see awesome natural sites while exploring the Tualatin Hills Nature Park.
When: Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Camps run weekly during the entire summer break.
Where: The drop-off and pick-up location for these camps is the Tualatin Hills Nature Center, 15655 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton.
What: Camp Green provides opportunities to delve into the natural world in which we live. We'll do science-based activities and explore how our daily lives are intertwined with the environment.
When: Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m.-4:30 p.m. throughout the summer.
Where: The drop-off and pick-up location for these camps is the Tualatin Hills Nature Center, 15655 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton. Campers must be dropped off by 8:45 am and will be back by 4:00 pm for pick-up. Local field trips to regional locations will be incorporated into each camp week. Register HERE for Camp Green.
Sports & Nature Camp
Who: Ages 6-10 What: Campers will discover and play a number of sports and explore parks and nearby natural areas. You can expect to combine fun movements and games with exciting nature components. This is a joint camp lead by both Athletic Center and Nature Center staff. When: Camps are all day, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Where: Camp meets at the HMT complex/Main Administration campus, 15707 SW Walker Rd., Beaverton.
