The Parks & Facilities Advisory Committee's charge is to guide development and use of outdoor physical assets and buildings, plus associated community engagement. The committee reviews high-level content on developed parks, athletic facilities, program facilities, ADA access, historic properties, and community gardens to provide advice and help THPRD achieve success in the following areas: Comprehensive Plan goals 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, Parks and Athletics Functional Plan implementation and review.

Public Comment: Testimony is being accepted for this meeting by email only. If you wish to submit testimony, please do so by e-mailing testimony to c.hall@thprd.org. Testimony received by the designated time will be read to the Committee during Public Comment or the applicable agenda item with a 3-minute time limit.
Public Attendance at the On-Line Meeting: The public is welcome to attend the meeting on-line. To attend, please email c.hall@thprd.org to express your interest to attend. You will receive an email response with a link to join the meeting.
Recruitment.
THPRD recruits new volunteers to join the district's advisory committees each fall. Applications are closed for 2024. For future opportunities, applicants must be age 16+, live in-district and commit to a two-year term (starting January 2026) to qualify.
