Join us for Monday Night Adult Therapeutic Recreation (TR)

Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation

Our mission is to promote the power of choice to enhance the quality of life for individuals of all abilities by providing diverse accessible recreation in an environment that promotes dignity, success and fun.

Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation activities are coordinated and conducted by trained staff to help meet the needs of teens (16+) and adults with disabilities.

Monday Night TR

A recreation program for patrons 16 years of age and older with developmental disabilties. Weekly events and off-sit activties are offered throughout the year. Classes are held year-round.

When: 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.

Cost: ID: $5.75 OD: $8

Registration: Online or call/visit front desk of any THPRD facility

Location: Elsie Stuhr Center, 5550 SW Hall Blvd. Beaverton, OR 5550 SW Hall Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005

To Participate:

Register before attending. This can be done at any THPRD facility or in your account online
Complete the required Medical Emergency Information Form and submit to any THPRD facility, email to inclusion@thprd.org, or update your online THPRD account.
Those requiring 1:1 assistance must submit a Caregiver Participation Form prior to attending program.

Thursday Night All-Stars

A recreation and socialization program for teens and adults (16+) with physical and developmental disabilities to play pickup games of basketball. All-Stars consists of two games. Games are not based on skill level or ability. You are welcome to attend game 1 or game 2, but not both.

When: Thursdays, 6:00-8:00 pm.

Cost: ID: $5.75 OD: $8

Location: Tualatin Hills Athletic Center (15707 SW Walker Rd, Beaverton)

Thursday Night Wheelchair Basketball

Join THPRD for Wheelchair Basketball! This drop-in program provides a weekly opportunity for youth and adults experiencing physical disabilities to play wheelchair basketball.

When: Most Thursdays, 6:30-7:45 pm. (times subject to change)

Cost: ID: $5.75 OD: $8
