Park Description
Located off of SW Center Street in Central Beaverton, 5-acre Center Street Park offers basketball and tennis courts, picnic tables, and a playground with a swing set.
A paved trail encircles this neighborhood park, which has a large grassy lawn in the center. It is frequently a site for the district's Concert/Theater in the Park series.
Center Street Park is accessible from several neighborhood trails on SW 121st Avenue, SW Mercer Terrace, and SW Center Street. Along the trail leading to SW Center Street, visitors will come across the Center Street Wetlands, a natural area with resident beavers, blackbirds, and a variety of other mammals and migratory birds.
Messenger Creek passes through Center Street Wetlands before merging with Beaverton Creek.
Center Street Park’s playground, in such close proximity to nature exploration opportunities at Center Street Wetlands, makes the area a great destination for kids looking for a new spot to play.
