Get involved with your school and make new friends through cross country. Train two days a week at your school, then represent your team in a district-wide series of meets with other Beaverton middle schools. This outdoor program runs rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather.
Participants will train to compete in 3,000-meter races while building confidence, endurance, and school spirit. The season includes three regular meets followed by a final District Meet featuring all participating schools.
Practices are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. ISB students practice from 3:25 to 4:40 p.m. The season runs from September 9 through October 30.
There will be three regular-season meets followed by a final District Meet. THPRD provides one-way bus transportation from the school to the meet location for the first three meets. Families must pick up students from the meet location afterward, as THPRD does not provide return transportation.
Students in grades 6-8 who attend middle school in the Beaverton School District are eligible to participate through Cedar Hills Recreation Center.
You can also join if you are:
A BSD middle school homeschool student
A BSD option school student
A student living within THPRD boundaries who attends private school
Add extra miles and extra camaraderie with our Saturday Cross Country sessions. Open to all athletes participating in the Middle School Cross Country program, these sessions are the perfect way to get race-ready while connecting with teammates beyond weekday practices.
Practices take place at Cedar Hills Recreation Center.
