Project Summary & Public Benefits

THPRD's successful bond measure, passed in November 2008, meant that new play equipment could be installed at Summercrest Park. The new swings, slides, ladders and other colorful equipment provides play opportunities for all kids in all age groups and with different abilities.

In addition to the new play equipment, the overall play area was increased by approximately 900 square feet.

Additional improvements such as concrete curbing for containing wood fiber safety surfacing was been installed.
