The safety of our patrons is one of THPRD's highest concerns. That's why passage of the 2008 bond measure was so important - it allowed the district to attend to important maintenance work and structural upgrades at a number of facilities.

Seismic upgrades were made at Somerset West Pool to bring it up to current earthquake standards.

In addition, the gas meter at the facility received new bracing, and the filter tanks, furnace and chlorine tanks were all updated.
