Project Summary & Public Benefits

In 2008, when voters in the Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation District approved a $100 million bond to protect natural areas, develop athletic fields, provide good maintenance for their facilities and construct new trails, they set the wheels in motion for dozens of projects.

Some projects are large, like the development of community parks, and some are smaller, such as installing trails. But all the projects – no matter the extent of the work - are important.

At Roxbury Park, passage of the measure meant that a new swing set could be installed.
