Roger Tilbury Memorial Park

Restoration work at this site is largely completed.  Maintenance and monitoring of plantings and target weeds continues.  

Project Summary & Public Benefits

The Natural Resources Department is enhancing the natural area in this newly developed park site by removing non-native plant species and replanting with native trees and shrubs.  This is the site of a steep creek canyon which contains North Johnson Creek and is the home to a variety of wildlife.  We will be enhancing the creek canyon to improve habitat, as well as stabilize the bank and improve water qualtiy.
