Project Summary & Public Benefits

Work has been completed on the Old Wagon Trail. The Park District hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, November 6, 2010 to celebrate the event.

The previous Old Wagon Trail boardwalk was replaced with a new slip-resistant, recycled plastic lumber boardwalk that stretches 1,040 feet, nearly twice the original length.
