Project Summary & Public Benefits

THPRD's successful bond measure, passed in November 2008, allowed for new play equipment at Harman Swim Center Park. Installed in fall 2010, the equipment provides play opportunities for kids in all age groups and abilities.

In addition to the new equipment, the overall play area was increased by approximately 100 square feet, to almost double the previous size. Additional improvements such as concrete curbing for containment of the wood fiber safety surfacing, benches, picnic tables and/or trash receptacles were included.
