The safety of our patrons is one of THPRD's highest concerns. That's why passage of the 2008 bond measure was so important - it allows the district to attend to important maintenance work and structural upgrades at a number of facilities.

Seismic upgrades will be made to the Garden Home Recreation Center. The remaining  buildings were built in between 1946 to 1976 as a school, THPRD purchased the property in 1986. The seismic upgrades will reinforce exit routes, brace sprinkler and gas piping, and brace boiler chimney.
