Seismic upgrades were completed in 2012. This brings the Conestoga Recreation and Aquatics Center up to current earthquake standards.
Project Summary & Public Benefits
The safety of our patrons is one of THPRD's highest concerns. That's why passage of the 2008 bond measure was so important - it allowed the district to attend to important maintenance work and structural upgrades at a number of facilities.
Seismic upgrades were made at the Conestoga Recreation and Aquatics Center, THPRD's only joint-use recreation and aquatic facility.
Contestoga Conestoga features an indoor six-lane, 25-yard lap pool with a one-meter diving board and rope swing, and a warmer indoor leisure pool with water features and waterslide was built to serve the high demand of recreational needs in the south end of the district.
