Project Summary & Public Benefits
Partnering with Clean Water Services, THPRD has restored the Bronson Creek Greenway by removing large amounts of invasive reed canary grass and other weeds, and planting a variety of native species. Large woody debris has been secured in the floodplain to help erosion control and improve fish and wildlife habitat.
This greenway provides significant wildlife habitat for species such as red-legged frogs, painted turtles, and plants like Western wahoo.
