Aloha Swim Center

In May 2013, after a three-month closure during which several upgrades were made, the Aloha Swim Center reopened.

In addition to seismic work to make the center safer in the event of an earthquake, the pool now has energy-efficient underwater lights, and new heating/ventilation systems in both the pool area and the men’s and women’s dressing rooms.

Patrons will notice new non-skid material on the pool deck, resurfacing on the pool tank, a new roof over the pool area, and newly-painted walls on both the interior and exterior of the building.

The safety of our patrons is one of THPRD's highest concerns. That's why passage of the 2008 bond measure was so important - it allows the district to attend to important maintenance work and structural upgrades at a number of facilities.
