Construction Beginning at Abbey Creek Park | Comienza la construcción en Abbey Creek Park
THPRD is excited to begin construction on Abbey Creek Park starting as soon as June 2024. The concept plan for the future park was shaped by community input from hundreds of people throughout the neighborhood. The future park will feature a new seating area, toddler play area, teen area, picnic shelter, benches, a looped path, and more trees and natural plantings.
The site will remain closed for public safety while we work on the new park. THPRD expects to complete park construction in fall 2024. To learn more about the future park, visit the Abbey Creek Park project webpage.

THPRD está emocionado de comenzar en junio 2024 la construcción en Abbey Creek Park. La participación de la comunidad de cientos de personas en todo el barrio le dio forma al plano conceptual del futuro parque. Este parque tendrá asientos en multinivel, juego para edades de 2-5, actividades para adolescentes, un refugio de picnic, bancas, un camino pavimentado, y mas árboles y plantaciones naturales.
